As the core component of the motor, the operating status of the motor bearing is directly related to the overall performance of the motor. However, motor bearing leakage problems occur from time to time, which brings great hidden dangers to the normal operation of the motor.

When it comes to the causes of motor bearing leakage, there are many. On the one hand, humid environment or rainwater intruding into the interior of the motor is often the culprit causing leakage. These adverse environmental factors will greatly reduce the insulation performance inside the motor, causing current to leak at the bearings. On the other hand, excessive accumulation of oil or other dirt on the motor windings will also reduce the insulation performance and increase the risk of leakage.

In addition, the insulation performance of the motor inlet and outlet wires or junction box joints is reduced or damaged, which is also a common cause of leakage. If there is a problem with the insulation of the joints, current can leak out of these weak points and cause damage to the motor bearings. Finally, if the motor runs for a long time or the working environment is harsh, it is easy to cause the motor to overheat and the insulation material to age, thus causing leakage problems.

Aiming at the leakage problem of motor bearings, we should take a series of effective preventive measures. First of all, strengthen the waterproof and moisture-proof work of the motor to ensure that the inside of the motor is dry and prevent moisture and rain from intruding. Secondly, clean the motor windings regularly to remove oil and dirt and maintain its good insulation properties. At the same time, we must regularly check the insulation condition of the incoming and outgoing lines or junction box joints. Once the insulation performance is found to be reduced or damaged, it should be dealt with in time.

For motors that have experienced insulation aging, we must pay more attention to them. Timely maintenance and replacement of motors can effectively prevent leakage accidents and ensure the normal operation of the motor.

It should be noted that the problem of motor bearing leakage involves complex electrical and mechanical knowledge, which is difficult to deal with. Therefore, when solving such problems, we should seek professional help and guidance to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the operation.
